Elevating the simple pleasures of everyday life
Founded in Florence, Italy, Florentine is a brand that embraces the essence of home and the precious memories shared with family. Inspired by the beauty of nature, Florentine aims to elevate the simple pleasures of everyday life for its customers and their loved ones. When the founder approached us, they had a vision of creating a deeply memorable and luxurious customer experience with a strong focus on putting their customers at the heart of their messaging.
To bring this vision to life, our primary goal was to develop a captivating and romantic yet modern visual identity that would resonate with the brand's core values. We crafted a colour palette centred around soft purple tones to evoke a sense of elegance and serenity and complimented it with minimalist typography that brings a luxurious and contemporary touch. We then developed the logo by customizing a tall and elegant serif font, creating a unique ligature between the letters 't' and 'i', symbolizing intimacy and elegance. The packaging design was intentionally kept minimal, allowing the individual scent colours and names to narrate their own story.
When it came to building the website, we recognized the need for a redesign that aligned seamlessly with Florentine's brand essence. The old website lacked ease of navigation and failed to reflect the brand's commitment to luxury and simplicity. To overcome this challenge, we opted to design the website using Squarespace, incorporating custom coding to integrate branded fonts and achieve an elevated look and feel. The goal was to create a sense of calm and serenity, much like the ambience Florentine's candles bring to a home. With a minimalist approach, we crafted clear and clean sections on the website, emphasizing purple accents to convey the brand's essence.
